Booster Tower is one of my favorite parts ofSuper Mario RPG. Why? The music, of course. Also, Booster himself. However, there’s a puzzle in there that might have you stumped, which requires you to set the order of Booster’s lineage to advance. So, what’s the order?
Booster has a lovely family. The illustrious lineage goes back six generations. If you want a glimpse of the entire line of Booster’s, look no further than the lobby. On the balcony of that immense room, you’ll see the portraits laid out in order. Maybe take notes, since you’ll need to replicate that order later.
It happens maybe two-thirds of the way up Booster Tower. You’ll find yourself in a hallway with a row of portraits. Your job is to interact with them in the order of lineage. You can memorize them, if you want, or you can just look here. This is the order of Boosters.
Each time you select a portrait, a sound will let you know if you got it right. Once they have all been selected, Booster will throw you a key.
Note that this is an optional puzzle, but solving it will provide Bowser with a Chain Chomp weapon. This is a really solid armament that will carry Bowser along until he gets the fantastic Hurley Gloves. It’s certainly one you don’t want to miss.
