One of the new pieces of content in theLethal CompanyVersion 45 update is the Tragedy Mask. This eerie new item doesn’t quite come with an instruction manual. So what is the newLethal Companymask? Here’s everything we know about the new Tragedy Mask item.

What happens when you wear the Tragedy Mask?

If you find and wear the new Tragedy Mask inLethal Company, you’re not going to have a good time. Wearing the Tragedy Mask will quickly start to deal damage to you and eventually kill you. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there’s anything you’re able to do to prevent that from happening, though maybe a potential way to survive just hasn’t been found yet.

That’s not all that happens, however. The Tragedy Mask is essentially a mimic, which means even though you are dead an enemy form of you, now wearing the mask, will now hunt down your crewmates. Other players will see your exact player model, just now wearing the mask, as they walk up and approach them. Then, in true mimic fashion, you will attack your crewmates.

Where can you find the newLethal Companymask?

Now that it’s in the game, you can find the new mask anywhere. Just look on the ground where you would normally find items inLethal Company: inside structures, installations, and more. It’s just a creepy-looking white mask.

Just keep in mind once you interact with the Tragedy Mask your character will put it on, and that’s pretty much the end of your journey. It’s only a matter of seconds before you perish and the mask is now you, ready to stalk your friends.
