The Western Front Armies pack will contain US and German forces
It’s been almost a year since the release ofCompany of Heroes 2and now we’ve got a trailer for the first DLC content for Relic’s WWII RTS title. There are two new factions included, the US Forces (which you may see in the trailer above) and the German Oberkommando West. There’s eight new maps and a host of new units for each faction in this multiplayer DLC.
I wonder if the decision to return to the Western Front is in anyway influenced by the game’sremoval from store shelves, digital and brick and mortar, in Russia and some other Eastern European countries. Having Germany face off against the American forces in WWII for the umpteenth time in videogames is maybe safer ground right now, culturally speaking.
