Umamusume Pretty Derby Pity System, Explained

Unlike most mainstream gacha games, likeGenshin ImpactandWuthering Waves,Umamusume Pretty Derbydoes not have a rate-based pity system, which means that you won’t find 50/50s or guaranteed pulls here. Instead, each pull on a designated Spotlight banner will reward you with 1x Exchange Point. Upon reaching 200, you can then exchange them for the banner’s Spotlight Featured Umamusume or SSR Card, both of which also have a 0.75% chance of being acquired per pull.

Be careful, though, as pulls are not shared between banners, and all Exchange Points acquired during a run are converted to Clovers at the end, which can be exchanged for items such as Umamusume and Card Scout Tickets at the Clover Shop. Speaking of banners, they also seem to be extremely short, with lifespans of around seven days. So make sure to save your Carats, as you will need to expend a total of 30K to get the points needed to claim a featured 3-Star or SSR Card.
