Tiny Glade, the impossibly cozy game from indie developers Pounce Light with music from NokNok Audio, is a much anticipated cozy building game that has been wishlisted more than50,000 times on Steamand is due to arrive on PC in Fall.
Now, after a long time of waiting, players will finally have the chance to play ademo of the gameon May 30.

Did you hear the news? Tiny Glade DEMO is coming on May 30th! 🙌🏰🐑We can’t wait for you to sample what we’ve been cooking 👩🍳👨🍳If you want a little sneak peek of what the demo will contain, we’ve just published a new post on Steam.PS: turn the sound on for the video 🎶pic.twitter.com/xeDCIMOFBd
Tiny Gladefeatures absolutely no combat, no story, and no goals. The game is based entirely on gridless buildings and features what might be the most fluid building style I’ve witnessed in any game. Placing down paths automatically creates archways in walls, windows can be added wherever you like and actually, adapt to alterations you make to your design, and outside of the building, you can pet the animals.

Not only will you be able to create buildings, but you’re able to mess with theterrainto create virtual dioramas of whatever you can think up, from huge sprawling castles with circular towers to tiny cottages secreted in the woodland of the Glade.
The coding side ofTiny Gladedevelopment is down to a duo in the shape ofAnastasia OparaandTomasz Stachowiak, who have an impressive history working in game development with the likes of Electronic Arts and Creative Assembly. Early on into the design process, Anastasia shared a video on TikTok which garnered over 9 million views and a million likes, leading the duo to spend more time on the project.

The demo will feature one of the five Glades which will be eventually available when the full game releases later this year, The Summer Glade. However, only a small portion of the full Glade’s building space will be available during the demo. There is also a newly added photo mode which will be available during the demo, and I can’t wait to see the designs that players can comes up with.
As you can probably tell, I’ve been waiting for this game for a long time now and can’t wait to dive in on May 30 to test the limits available within theTiny Gladedemo.
