Back to basics?

Tokyo Game Show 2014 has officially kicked off today, running through September 21. As always, these first two days are for business (yeah, right) and the remaining two add in the public (and the cosplayers; sweat).

This year’s show brings 32 countries and 421 exhibitors together, showing a record number: 1,361 titles. So far, the show seems to be getting back to basics, with plenty of console games to show far. VR and mobile definitely make a showing, but this is really about the current generation of consoles. Great news, I’d say.
