The Internet was rife with accusations and outraged screams this weekend as it was suggested thatGameTrailershad been caughtred-handedfavoring the Xbox 360 over the PlayStation 3 thanks to aGRIDvideo that wrongly labeled 360 footage as PS3 footage —less dynamicfootage at that, making the PlayStation 3 lookinferiorandterrible.
I was quick to write this off as oversensitiveconspiribabblefrom a bunch of crybaby Sony Defense Force imbeciles who obsessively perpetuate rumors that the world is out to get the PS3 (and by extension, them) rather than face up to the reality that nobody cares about the PS3’s reputation butthem. That was, however, before I saw theEVIDENCEthat you too may view by watching the abovedamning video.
After watching that footage, I have not one shred of doubt in my mind that this was more than a mere mistake. GameTrailers is a corrupt, malicious Web site intent on spewingpro-Microsoft propagandafor personal gain. The video proves it, becauseEVIDENCE!
Not wanting to add fuel to the rumor fire, I thinkI once sawsomeone who possibly worked at GameTrailers accepting money from Microsoft forlyingaboutGRID. He was wearing a McDonald’s uniform and gave a Happy Meal to the Microsoft employee (cunningly disguised as a ten-year old) once he took the cash. If I ever see it happen again, I promise to film it and put it on YouTube, becauseYouTube videos prove everything!
