This latest trailer forSyndicateis pretty damn exciting. It’s a sparse overview of the title’s cooperative mode which lets you team up with three other operatives on assignments deemed to difficult for a lone agent to accomplish. We’ll be getting a closer look at the mode very soon, but this has sufficiently wet my appetite.
I love the lack of pretense involved in corporate espionage as seen in cyberpunk settings like this one. It feels so much more honest for a company to send in its private security forces and just take the thing it wants from a competitor rather than try to bury them under legal red tape or acquire them in a fiscally hostile takeover.
