Blizzard has finally set a date

Kerrigan is back, baby! Come this March 12th, you’ll be able to rip apart your enemies and spread the swarm:StarCraft II: Heart of Swarmfinally has a release date. This kinda-sorta expansion comes with an all new Zerg single player campaign, new mechanicslike race leveling, and new units.

In typical Blizzard fashion, there arethree options here. The Standard Edition ($39.99), Collector’s Edition ($79.99), and the Digital Deluxe Edition ($59.99). If you’re really excited, you canpre-purchase the game nowon Battle.net.

I wasn’t completely in love withStarCraft II‘s multiplayer, and I doubt this will do much to change that fact, but the Terran campaign was off the chain. I expect nothing less here in terms of a solid single player experience.
