Made up of 43,598 Achievements

Something special happened on Twitch in the wee hours of the morning today. Raymond Cox, better known on the Internet as Stallion83, became the first player to break one million Gamerscore on Xbox.

Cox, who has been the pacesetter for virtually all Gamerscore-related accolades, hit the mark right on the nose after hours of playing Xbox One games that he reserved easily attainable Achievements for the run at one million. However, the final Achievement was worth 50 Gamerscore inTitanfall, incredibly appropriately named “I Like A Challenge.”

To add a bit of ceremony to the occasion, Cox changed Xbox Ones before the milestone. He switched to the white console that Microsoft had presented him at the Xbox One launch event. Previously, he had never unlocked an Achievement on it, only turned it on to load his profile.

Regardless of your thoughts on Achievements and Gamerscore, you have to hand it to the guy. It takes a special combination of dedication and skill to be the best at something of this magnitude. Congrats, Stallion; if you want to take a crack at two million, we’re pulling for you.
