Having practically forgotten that a sequel toShankwas being made, news of the follow-up’s looming arrival is a pleasant surprise.Shank 2will first be hitting PlayStation Network and PC in North America on February 7, followed by a release on Xbox Live Arcade and European PSN a day later.
It’s also nice to hear that Electronic Arts and Klei Entertainment have resisted the urge to charge more than $9.99 for this game. Good on them! They could’ve easily gotten away with a higher asking price.

I was starting to think the beat-’em-up genre in its entirety would no longer appeal to me outside of nostalgic favorites, butShankwas a good deal of fun. Klei hasseemingly addressedthe control issues I had with the original game, soShank 2should be very appealing indeed.
