Scribblenauts Remix, or as my younger cousin calls it, “Scribblesnot” has a lot to be thankful for. As of today, the rooster-headed wordsmith simulator has sold over one million copies on iOS. To celebrate, in true iOS fashion, the game is getting afreeValentines Day update that adds a few new love themed items to the experience.

Personally, I foundRemix’scheap price and simple iOS touchscreen interface extremely enticing. I’m glad that 5th Cell wasn’t forced to rely on one platform for their sales, and were still able to turn a profit porting to iOS despite selling the game at the meager price of $1.99.

Remixalso supports additional features over the DS games, like Game Center achievements and cloud saving (including the ability to jump from device to device with the same save).
