Playing each other’s games can be awkward
No matter how hard I may try, I can’t change. I’ll sit down at my desktop and think “Hey, maybe I should write a script for show like30 Rock?” and before I know it, I have Samus and Sagat at the kitchen table talking about how it’s not always good to stay up all night playingSuper Smash Bros.
People get mad at guys like George Lucas and Thom Yorke for not giving fans what they want, but I’ve got to imagine that they can’t always help it. We’re all stuck with our brains, and we can’t help but make the things that come out of those brains. If I could just choose to write a sitcom like30 Rock, I would. Instead, I wroteSamus and Sagat.I hope you like it.
