New edition seeming en route
It appears that the mega-popular rougeliteDead Cellsmight be preparing to make its native debut on Gen 9 platforms, as a new listing on the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) points to a PS5 port of the award-winning release — which first launched on PC and consoles in the summer of 2018.
As notedby Gematsu this past weekend, the new edition is seemingly namedDead Cells: Return to Castlevania Edition, which suggests that it will launch on PS5 with all post-release content intact, including expansionsThe Bad Seed, Update of Plenty, and the recent crossover DLC,Return to Castlevania.As to whether this new edition will feature any technical boost, we will simply have to wait until publisher Playdigious shows its hand.
