Better PokeStops, more Buddy candy
Niantic has announced a new event to get people back intoPokemon Go— Adventure Week.
Formed around Rock-type Pokemon, the festivities kick off on May 18 at 1:00 PM PT until May 24 at 1:00 PM PT, and will increase your chances of seeing ‘mons like Kabuto and Omanyte, and Aerodactyl. There are also some token bonuses too, like extra items from PokeStops, a one quarter requirement for Buddy candy, and an “Adventurer’s Hat” item that will be freely given out to players.
It’s not as massive as say, an enhanced XP event (which was just recently held), but it’s something. While I don’t play regularly anymore I’m still swept up in these events with my wife from time to time.
