Fragile but cool

This week’s release ofCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogyhas long time PlayStation fans feeling pretty nostalgic. As a show of celebration for the remasters of Sony’s classic mascot platformer series, PlayStation employees in the United States were given a free copy of theN. Sane Trilogyin an old school Jewel case.

It looks like Naughty Dog employees got in on this little gift as well. Naughty Dog’s own Neil Druckman took to Twitter to show off his copy.

This is a nice little nostalgic gift for PlayStation employees, but I’m surprised this one didn’t hit as a collector’s edition.Crashwas already affordable at $40, and I’m sure plenty of fans would’ve gladly given another $20 for an old school jewel case that they would crack in minutes.

Would you have ponied up for a collector’s edition given the option, or is the nostalgia of these three classic titles more than enough for you?
