I’m still waiting on that Dreamcast version, yo

WithPier Solar HD, what’s old is new and what’s new is old again. Unfortunately, we’ve got to wait quite a bit longer before we can actually give it a try now. The Sega Genesis-styled RPG care ofWatermelonhas been delayed to June.

Considering how gorgeous preliminary screens have been,Pier Solar HDlooks like an alluring throwback to a forgotten age, and while it’s easy to slap retro-fabulous graphics over a mediocre frame (I’m looking at you,Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled)Pier Solarlooks like an honest-to-goodness adventure that should tickle every nostalgic bone in your body. It’s also releasing for nearly every console you can think of, even Dreamcast.
