Compatibility issue preventing downloads on portable systems

Persona 2: Eternal Punishmentreleased on PlayStation Network earlier this week. Well, sort of. Atlus title should be available for purchase via Sony’s online store across all three platforms but only the PlayStation 3 version seems to be available at this time.

Sony says the classic role-playing game was intended to be available on PSP and Vita this week. However, an unforeseen compatibility issue is preventing the game from being being accessed from portable storefronts. It should be sorted out in the coming weeks, but until then there’s a workaround for PSP owners.

To get the game on the venerable portable just purchase the game via PS3 or thePC storefront, check the download history on your handheld, and you should be good to go. Still, Vita owners will be left out in the cold until Sony remedies the problem. Apparently the title has yet to be authenticated for the system.
