If the entirety of Pearl Jam’s classic albumTenbeingplayable inRock Bandwasn’t enough for you, sleep well knowing there’s a hell of a lot more on the way.
It appears there’s some sort of Pearl JamRock Bandproject in the works, and the band’s fans are being asked to help shape the set list based on live recordings.Pearl Jam’s official Web siteis asking fans to listen to various song recordings using Rhapsody in an effort to choose “the best version” that will be placed on the set list for the forthcoming project to be released in 2010.

The song that’s listened to by users most will then be entered into consideration for the final track list. Fans are being asked to choose and listen to over 40 tracks, so if you’re actually participating in this you’d better like Pearl Jam. I mean, that’s a lot of damned Pearl Jam.
It’s unclear where these songs will end up, but one can speculate that a retail live disc (a laAC/DC Live: Rock Band) makes sense. We’re not sure if we need 50 some-odd Pearl Jam songs in ourRock Bandcollection, but we’re thinking “why not?” And as long as the songs are transferable to a hard drive, we’re okay with this thing.
