Uh, those logos look awfully familiar, UCLA School of Law

Busted Listen, I’m no attorney. I don’t have a J.D. and I haven’t passed the bar. But, I have played entirely too muchRock Bandin my life — enough to recognize four distinct logos. That’s why, not-attorney as I may be, it doesn’t seem right that the UCLA School of Law (an establishment full of attorneys and prospective attorneys) is using Harmonix’s trademarks to promote its event. Harmonix called UCLA out on it in the tweet embedded below, but there’s a winky face at the end so you know it’s not really serious....

Xbox Series X shouldn’t be too noisy

Phil Spencer says they’re matching the Xbox One X Modern video game consoles can get pretty darn noisy, especially when game developers try to squeeze all they can out of the machines. Is it normal for a PlayStation 4 Pro to sound like it’s ready for takeoff? I don’t know aboutnormal, but it’s become a common enough phenomenon that people have latched onto the notion that the system sounds like a “jet engine....

A new Nioh 2 update fixes a ton of bugs, and adds quality of life changes

Mmhmm yes, yes You know how annoying it is when developers release major patches for games and kind of just go silent? That’s not what Team Ninja is doing and I appreciate the hell out of it. Nioh 2‘s version 1.05 patch is now live for the only version of the game (PS4), and they gave us full patch notes on Twitter to comb through. The main highlights beyond a ton of bug fixes include quicker proficiency gains when you’re using a weapon that’s lower than your lowest proficiency weapon (encouraging playstyle variety is a good thing, instead of getting stuck in one ecosystem), and some dojo missions require less proficiency....
