Assassin’s Creed movie trailer Ubisoft dragged producer Frank Marshall (Indiana Jones, Back to the Future,Jurassic World) out on stage for its E3 dog and pony show. He thinks “theAssassin’s Creeduniverse has all the elements” of a great movie. Okay. “We have a real story and it has an arc that goes all the way to the end,” Marshall said, either inadvertently shitting on theAssassin’s Creedgames (which lack a real story) or just, uh, describing every story ever made?...

First thing you’ll notice about YouTuberSmooth McGrooveis that his beard is legendary. Combined with his already long hair, he is a dead ringer for Cousin Itt from the Addams Family. Also, he looks a lot like my college roommate. So far based on my experiences (I got him to a Master Skin two days ago) he is in fact balanced, and can be easily countered in high-level play.Blizzard seems to agree, noting that he has “barely” under a 50% win rate, and that he looks “fine” at all levels....

Airtight Games’ and Capcom’sDark Voidis really starting to shape up nicely, if the latest batch of screens are anything to go by. Appealing to your baser instincts this game is, once again, all about killing robots and giant bugs from outer space. And you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way. EDF 2025is invading the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year. Until then you can do your part in supporting the war effort by watching this trailer....

Go home again Majesco’s indie publishing label Midnight City is bringing last year’s surprise hitGone Hometo consoles later this fall, ithas announced. Details on which consoles it will release for and when exactly are not yet available. Fullbright’s Steve Gaynorexplained the partnership, saying, “the folks at Midnight City know exactly what an indie needs out of a publisher these days — to take on the role of a service provider that gets all the logistics done to the highest level of quality possible and helps get the word out to a new audience about why they should care about this game, without trying to own the IP or get in the way of the existing relationship we have with our players....

We try, honestly we do, but then it all just bursts forth like a geyser.
