Featuring the most dramatic narration for a tech demo ever, the newestAssassin’s Creed 3trailer shows off Ubisoft’s proprietary graphics engine, dubbed AnvilNext. The engine is capable of dynamic weather in all four seasons, absurd numbers of NPCs on-screen at once, and plenty more. There’s also a little bit of Ubisoft bragging that with 1,000 new animations for Conner, he’s become “the most detailed third-person action character ever created.” See, that’s the kind of thing you might not otherwise appreciate while stabbing people in the neck....

Battlefield 6, EA’s latest and (hopefully) greatest, looks promising to say the least. Given what I saw in the leaked beta testing and the new trailer, I wholeheartedly admit my hype. However, I hear a battle royale mode is coming toBF6, and seriously, does it really need it? According to Insider Gaming’s Sam Sepiol,Battlefield 6is set to get a battle royale mode, but that it won’t be available at launch (supposedly October 10)....

I’ll be the first to admit thatDestiny 2isn’t in the best of states right now, what with all the hubbub around its post-Final Shapeseasonal releases. Yet, there’s no denying the fact that the fancy newHeresytrailer is every bit as cool asDestiny‘s very best showpieces. Seriously, though,Destiny 2: Heresy‘s launch trailer is an impressive piece of marketing kit. It looks stunning, to begin with, and even if you’re a total newcomer to the series, the setup is quite obvious....

A robot named Chloe will guide you through the game’s menus, comment on your choices and the events of the campaign, and provide you with a poll where you may compare your answers with the rest of the community.
