According to a image from a Meijer’s catalog obtained byKotaku, it looks like the Xbox 360 Elite models will be receiving a price cut on or around August 30. The catalog claims that the 120GB Xbox 360 Elite console will have a new, lower price — $299.99. That’s $100 less than the current MSRP of the 120GB Elite, and the current price of the 60GB Pro model. This lends credence toearlier rumorsthat the Pro is being yanked from retail, leaving only the Elite and Arcade models standing....

Pinball FX will be the first to support the new feature Speaking at a GDC presentation today, Xbox boss Phil Spencer just announced plans to support cross-buy and other cross-platform functionality between Xbox One and Windows 10 devices. Sony popularized cross-buy support on PlayStation systems in 2012, allowing customers to purchase select games on one console and download the game again on another device without a second purchase. The company has also introduced cross-save and cross-play functionality, letting users to transfer save games and interact across platforms in various other ways....

Nintendo going back for Round 2 Nintendo is taking further legal action against Switch ROM-selling website RomUniverse, with whom the publisherpreviously filed suit in 2019, in the case that saw the site’s owner ordered to pay Nintendo $2.1 million in damages. As reported by Pocket Gamer, Nintendo has filed a new request for a permanent injunction, after RomUniverse owner Matthew Storman allegedly missed their first monthly payment of $50. Nintendo sees Storman’s failure to meet the payment as a sign of the defendant’s disregard for the court’s orders....

Lately, there’s been little talk about Nordic Games’ plans for all of those THQ properties it picked up.Last we heard, the company wanted to find other studios that could develop new titles in series likeDarksiders,MX vs. ATV, andRed Faction, to name only a few out of a huge list of acquired intellectual properties.
