I’ve been a regular viewer since Summer of ’06 and I’ve watched the site blossom from a small bunch of crazy people sticking it to the man into a big bunch of crazies making fart jokes andFuturamaallusions in staff emails....
So why am I not more excited? Capcom has a new trailer forRemember Me, which features a few enemy types, outcast mutants of some sort, robots, etc. There’s also a perfectly fine amount of the main character, Nilin, engaging with these antagonists. It also has a reasonably inoffensive backing tune which resembles the kind of music uninformed people like myself refer to as “dubstep,” but not quite so loud. In case it wasn’t painfully obvious from the preceding paragraph,Remember Mehasn’t clicked for me yet....

Sapienza Hitmanmay have launched, but it’s not done yet! Square Enix will be releasing more episodes down the line to add on to the original Paris level, and next up is Sapienza. The publisher has always targeted an April release date, but now we now that it will hit on exactly April 26. The teaser doesn’t show much at all other than a basic rundown of the landscape, but Sapienza is in Italy after all, so you can probably guess what will be on offer....
Back to basics? Tokyo Game Show 2014 has officially kicked off today, running through September 21. As always, these first two days are for business (yeah, right) and the remaining two add in the public (and the cosplayers; sweat). This year’s show brings 32 countries and 421 exhibitors together, showing a record number: 1,361 titles. So far, the show seems to be getting back to basics, with plenty of console games to show far....
I really enjoyed the firstTrineand its three-way character swapping and it felt like a concept that was just ripe for a cooperative experience. Luckily, developer Frozenbyte is coming through for us in that regard. What really looks interesting is the new Unlimited Mode that allows for all three players to jump in with the same character, rather than fill each of the roles exclusively. Apparently it “changes the game mechanics a lot and it’s a very different experience....
