Quality Tea Environment Remember “QTE Expert” from the You Arcade inShenmue? You did playShenmuedidn’t you? That very mini-game is shown off in QTE test footage in thelatest monthly updatefor the long-awaited sequel (but not necessarily final game) in theShenmueseries....

It’s beefy Valve has been working in the virtual-reality space with aprototype head-mounted display of its own, and by most accounts, the device provides an experience unlike any other VR demo. Spike Chunsoft and tri-Ace’s Exist Archive looks even better in motion

I’m interested Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky, the newest project from tri-Ace and Spike Chunsoft, looks pretty great. Now, compliments of for latter part of the collaboration, we have a gameplay trailer that shows us a bit more in regards to how things will actually play out. In short, it looks like there’s plenty of JRPG combat to be had, as well as some sleek-looking platforming. While it’s just coming to Japan later this year on PS4 and Vita, I hope that it gets localized eventually....

Stardew Valley’s 1.5 update will have a new ‘beach farm’ and remixed community center bundles

It’s wild how the smallest of things can whip this community into a frenzy With hundreds of hours logged inStardew Valley, I find myself saying often: “yeah, I can start another farm.” Such is the power of the dew. It helps that it’s run by one of the most affable and approachable developers in the gaming industry right now: as Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone is constantly teasing little updates that are going to come together to form a Justice League-like explosion....

Valve is now letting Steam usersbuy digital gift cards(ranging from $5 up to $100) that they can send to people who have been on their friends list “for at least three days....

The best stuff on Destructoid this week [2/1]

Things you should be reading! [We post a lot of articles here at Destructoid.
