The crossover we’ve all been waiting for has finally been announced: The Lucasarts classic is coming toSea of Thievesas part of itsLegend of Monkey Islandupdate.
The Secret of Monkey Islandfirst launched in 1990, and is one of my favorite games of all times. Meanwhile,Sea of Thievesis one of those games that I’ve wanted to get around to, but absolutely haven’t in all theyears it’s been available.
The trailer forSea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Islandshows a group of Scallawags arriving on Melee Island and quickly going on a tour of all the hot spots. They talk to the Voodoo Lady, Stan, and even Guybrush Threepwood himself. They even find their way to Monkey Island and the second biggest monkey head I’ve ever seen!

Anyway, it’s being promised that “three tall tales” will be added toSea of Thievesover the span of three months, starting August 08, 2025.
