Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux may be all about the Xbox 360, but he’s not above praising PS3 exclusives, happy to admitthat Media Molecule’sLittleBigPlanetwas the most creative endeavor of last year.
TheFablecreator was speaking at this year’s Creative and Business International Network review of the creative economy, where he highlighted thatLBP‘s release was the most important creative innovation of 2008.

“LittleBigPlanethas outstanding creative vision. It’s from a British start-up studio and is one of the defining titles on Japan’s Sony PS3,” stated the outspoken designer.
That’s nice forLittleBigPlanet, and with all the love that’s clearly gone into the game, it’s good that other developers would notice and give it due respect. Personally I think the inclusion of Stephen Fry as narrator was its most important innovation, however.
