‘New World Order’ debuts October 25
Despite the fact that I’m holding off on Telltale’sBatmanepisodic adventure, I like to hear how things are coming along. It’s inevitable that I’ll get around to it, and the sooner the full season is out, the better. That sentiment also goes for The Odd Gentlemen’s still-in-developmentKing’s Questrun, which I’ve struggled tonotstart. Episodic gaming can be a real patience-tester.
WithRealm of ShadowsandChildren of Arkhamwrapped, it’s nearly time for the thirdBatmanepisode,New World Order. That’ll drop on Tuesday, October 25 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The summary sounds like a typical Telltale romp: “Penguin’s brutal attack broadcast on live TV has left Gotham City reeling. As Bruce andBatman, you’ll dig deeper into the web of intrigue surrounding the newly revealed Children of Arkham. Meanwhile, behind closed doors, the mysterious Selina Kyle reveals more of herself to Bruce. And in the aftermath of the attack, Bruce’s friend and Gotham’s new mayor, Harvey Dent, is a deeply changed man. Who can be trusted when the future of Bruce Wayne – and theBatman– could be determined by the flip of a coin?”
There’s no elegant way to incorporate this without it going overlooked, but speaking of the Penguin, y’all need to hear Danny DeVito recountthis monkey-attack storyfrom the set ofBatman Returns.
