Do you remember the hit 1966 filmManos: The Hands of Fate? No? The movie was made because of a bet by Harold P. Warren, a guy who sold fertiliser and had no prior film-making experience, on a budget of only $19,000. Unbelievably, the film absolutely tanked, and is currently sitting ata 1.9/10 score on IMDB.

Well this jewel from the history of cinema, fifty years after it released, has finally got a game adaptationcoming out on Steam today.MANOS: Director’s Cutis a reworked version of FreakZone Games’ earlier mobile version.

It’s a retro-platformer that follows the entire story of Warren’s magnum opus, and there’s a “PLAY AS TORGO” mode… which I’m not quite sure what that means, but it’s a thing. And I imagine it involves the creepy farmer dude.

At least we know the plot will be wank before we even start it. There’s screenshots below, should you want to take a gander.
