Dontnod’s not wasting too much time
We’re mere days away from the playable teaser forLife is Strange 2, a neat little adjacent story about an imaginative child who’s using fantasy escapism to make the best of a bad situation. It’s calledThe Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, and it releases for free on June 25. In the buildup toCaptain Spirit, developer Dontnod has claimed it’ll formally announce theLife is Strangesequel “in the coming months.”
That vague window got a lot clearer this morning. Dontnod sent out the following tweet regardingLife is Strange 2:

So, we’re getting an August reveal and that first episode releases on September 27. Like its predecessor,Life is Strange 2will have a five-episode arc. That all sounds good. It’s nice to know what to expect when you’re expecting.
