You can finish a quick emote quest in the first major town, too
Blizzard is attempting to elevate the MMO-like/online features of the series withDiablo 4, which includes the ability to pop off emotes to showcase how you’re feeling at the moment. Although I generally never use them, you might! Here’s how to quickly queue them up.
Here’s how you use emotes on both major platforms:
That’s it! Basic emotions are all available at the start, including help, thanks, taunt, sorry, follow, and cheer. You can use these to wordlessly speak to random players online when playing multiplayer.
Get the emote intro quest done quickly in Kyovashad
In the northeastern portion of Kyovashad (the first major city you’ll find in Act 1),speak to Guard Boza to kick off the emote intro quest. All you need to do is head to the small courtyard where guards are practicing (directly northeast of the quest) and use the “cheer” emote.
It takes roughly 10 seconds to complete, and it’s free XP!
