Survivor’s First Axe
As one of the basics, you’ll want to add an axe to your arsenal of Pickaxe, Torch, and weaponry. For those who just want the material list, that’s simple enough.
Stone Axe Recipe
String, fortunately, is not very hard to find or craft. Look around the shrubs near you, and you should find string or plant fiber to craft string from. Four pieces are necessary to make string.
Lastly, you need one stone and four piles of twigs. These are ubiquitous items you’ll find during regular exploration of forests and ruins around you. Next, open up your inventory. Note that time continues while the map is up.
Here, look for the axe. It’s in the survival category. With all your items gathered, you’ll be able to craft the axe by pressing the space key. I advise you to keep one during the early hours of the game. It makes woodcutting easy in addition to serving as a formidable weapon.
