As you progress throughNightingale’squest line, you’ll have to find crucial resources like twine to help you build structures like the upgrade workbench. If you’re looking to improve your gear in preparation for more Realmwalking, you’ll need to stock up on these important materials throughout your playthrough.
How to get Twine inNightingale
Crafting twine inNightingalerequires using fibre in a simple spinning wheel and waiting a few seconds for the crafting process to finish. For each piece of twine you create, you need two fibres, which you can get by harvesting wild plants and grass. Once you create some twine, you can use it to build structures such as an upgrade bench or save it in case you need it for future crafting recipes.
Before you can create twine, you’ll need to purchase a schematic for a simple spinning wheel and build it. Like most structures inNightingale, you’ll find the blueprint at various Essence Traders.

How to build a Simple Spinning Wheel inNightingale
Building a simple spinning wheel requires purchasing the structure’s schematic from an Essence Trader for 55 Essence Dust before using wood bundles, fibre, and bones to build it. I found this blueprint from anAbeyancetrader who sold schematics for the mortar station, saw table, and smelter, but you can also find various traders as you explore other Realms.
Once you buy the simple spinning wheel schematic, you’ll need the following resources to build it:

Like many crafting stations, you’ll need wood bundles from chopping down trees and fibre from wild grass. Bones are a common drop from passive and hostile creatures you find in the wild, making this easy to farm if you have aSlingbow and ammofor targeting wild deer or solid melee weapons for dealing with aggressive creatures.
Once you build the simple spinning wheel, you’ll find the twine crafting recipe near the top. You’ll also find recipes for wick, refined fibre, and Charm Twine that you can use for other items.
