Get Electrum inFinal Fantasy XVIto craft the Drakeslayer’s Belt
Electrum is a unique crafting material inFinal Fantasy XVIthat you’ll know you’ll want right away. It is a key ingredient for the Drakeslayer’s Belt, which should be a healthy upgrade once you see it in your crafting menu. As you might suspect from the icon next to this material’s name, Electrum comes from a monster. Unfortunately, you may have to wait a bit before you can get this material.
To get Electrum inFinal Fantasy XVI, you’ll have to defeat the Severian Notorious Mark. This should be the sixth mark that appears on the Hunt Board back at your hideaway. To unlock Severian, simply keep progressing the main story until it appears on your hunt board.
How to find Severian
Severian should appear on your hunt board around the time you reach the “After the Storm” main quest. This is shortly after your main story progress reaches roughly the halfway point. Look out for the circle icon on the hunt board in the map of your hideaway, as that will let you know when new marks have been added.
Once you can grab the Severian hunt, you can find it to the northwest of Martha’s Rest. This will lead you to the Sorrowise area.For more information on how to track down and defeat this foe, check out our dedicated guide here.
Afterwards, you’ll receive an Electrum as a reward. Take your goods back to the blacksmith and forge that Drakeslayer’s Belt. Enjoy your new equipment inFinal Fantasy XVI!
