The Citadelle des Morts map holds many treasures, from the mighty elemental swords to the mystical Ritual Items. The Horseshoe is one of the objects included in this mix, opening the door to the challenging Main Quest. Here’s how to get and use the Horseshoe inBlack Ops 6 Zombies.
Where to find Otto’s Horseshoe in BO6 Zombies
Early in your match, you can lay your hands on the Horseshoe, also known as ‘Otto’s Horseshoe.’ Open the gates on the left side of the Citadelle des Morts map and head tothe barn at D5 coordinates. It’ll be right next to the Deadshot Daquiri Perk machine.
Go inside andlook above one of the doorways to spot a horseshoe. Then, shoot it down to grab it. Some guns may not work, like theMustang and Sallybase build, so make sure to use something a little more robust, including Assault Rifles and SMGs.
How to use Horseshoe in BO6 Zombies
To use Otto’s Horseshoe inBO6 Zombies, you mustchange it into its Pegasus’ Horseshoe form.Go to the cannonthat you’ve likely already interacted with during the beginning of the match. Launch yourself from it, and you’ll see a bolt of lightning trigger shortly after. If you don’t, ensure Otto’s Horseshoe is in your inventory, or else it won’t work.
When you’re done flying high in the sky,look up to locate a nearby storm cloud. Approach the area below it, and you’ll see Pegasus’ Horseshoe lying there. However, be careful of the zombies that spawn near it.
You’ll now have the correct form for the Ritual Items quest, allowing you to receive an Incantation for a particular elemental sword.
How to unlock Electric Incantation in BO6 Zombies
Use the Horseshoe to receive anupgrade for the Lightning Stag Sword. Collect threeLightning Rodsand place them inside a mechanism to unlock theLightning Sword. Then, you must utilize Pegasus’ Horseshoe at spawn (E7 coordinates).
You’ll see a glowing circle near here, where you’re able to place the Pegasus’ Horseshoe down. Stick around it and start shooting zombies to farm souls. It shouldn’t take too long to build up, especially if the round has just started.
The Horseshoe will then change into a chest that harnessesthe Electric Incantation. Equip the Stag Sword and use Melee on the chest to open it. The Incantation will be placed onto the sword, giving you the power to stun and eliminate zombies.
You can also use the Electric Incantation to get the Mystic Orb, an item needed for the Main Quest. Those who participate in this quest must acquire the otherelemental swords, allRitual Items, andPage Fragments. It’s a long and arduous road, but it’ll all be worth it once you unlockBO6 Zombiesexclusive cutscene.
