Screening next Thursday at Sundance
A few months ago, Nintendo held a Wii U video challenge, asking 30 of YouTube’s top content creators to produce short videos inspired bySuper Mario 3D WorldandThe Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD. After viewing all the selected videos, Nintendo selected theHey Ash, Whatcha Playin’?team to work with fellow YouTube personality Freddie Wong on a short film inspired byDonkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
The short film is set to debut at the Nintendo Chalet in Park City, UT during the Sundance film festival at 10:00am on Thursday, January 16, where visitors will also be able to play titles such asWii Fit UandThe Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worldswhile hiding out from the cold.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze(the game) is set to hit Wii U on February 21.
