Leave it to Google to show the rest of the world how to properly pull an April Fools’ prank!

Launched earlier today, Google Maps has received an update with the help of Square Enix. If you visit theMaps pageand click the “Quest” icon in the top-right corner, the entire map will be rendered as an NES-era,Dragon Questoverworld. Cities become 8-bit towns, major roads become dirt paths, and flag markers become little heroes. Even the Street View becomes a limited-color mess of pixels!
