Soak in this Zelda art video inspired by Miyazaki
YouTuberMatt Vinceposted a video yesterday that takes the world ofThe Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timeand combines it with the somber, gorgeous art style perfected byHayou Miyazaki. It’s a real feast for the eyes, and it’s accompanied by a lovely instrumental piano version ofOoT‘s main title theme.
The animation breaks down a bit when there’s a moving character on screen, but the backgrounds and incidental animation like fireflies are above reproach. The artist created this video to accompanyposters he had createdsome time ago that share the same style.
I’ve watched this several times already, and every time it’s helped calm me down a little. It’s also made me deeply want to revisitOcarina of Time. Now where did I put that 3DS?
