That was liquid football
Regardless oflast week’s controversiesand mixed reviews, Electronic Arts’ football simFIFA 20continues to rock the top of the UK charts, making it three weeks in a row for the latest entry in EA’s legendary franchise.
FIFA 20managed to fend off the release of Codemasters racing sim,GRID, as well as continued strong showings from shooters, including Ubisoft’s Not GoodGhost Recon: Breakpointand Microsoft’s Very GoodGears 5.Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, much likeGrand Theft Auto V, continues to shift physical copies years after release, pushing its way back into the Top Three.

Elsewhere in the charts, smaller titles such asYooka-Laylee and the Impossible LairandConcrete Genieare floating in the mid-30s, further solidifying the idea that physical charts are essentially the domain of the heavily-marketed mainstream releases. With that in mind, as we head deeper into the year’s end, shakeups can be expected from the launch ofShenmue III, MediEvil, Death Strandingand, of course,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
