Falcom is set to debut footage of the upcomingYs IX: Monstrum Noxnext month at the Dengeki Games Festival 2019. Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo will be on stage during a special event on March 24 to reveal the first footage ofYs IXalongside a discussion of the future of theTrailsseries. The event will happen between 17:00 and 18:30 JST.
I’m still a bit surprised thatYs IXis going to be a PS4 exclusive. I figured the numerous ports to PC andYs VIII’sappearance on Switch would have been good indicators that this series was multi-platform. I’m also cautious about the future of theTrailsseries now thatNISA is taking over. Despite all of that, I remain a bigYsfan and am eager to see whatIXwill be.
