Though I’m not the biggest fan of theDragon Ballanime series, I’ve always been a sucker for the games based on it. This year’sDragon Ball FighterZabsolutely mesmerized me at EGLX earlier this month and theBudokaitrio replaced theGodzillafighting games for me and my friends as the go-to party beat’em ups.Dragon Ball Legendsreminds me of those high-flying fighters from a decade ago, but playable on my phone.

Earlier today, as Bandai Namco detailed its mobile strategy for the coming year, it gave us our first look atLegendswith the trailer below. This free-to-play mobile card-fighter will feature a new main character created by Akira Toriyama and allow for worldwide battles using theGoogle Cloud Platform. You can pre-register for the game right now onGoogle Play. Here’s to hoping your phone is powerful enough to run it.
