Developer BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts released an all-new trailer for the upcoming RPGDragon Age: The Veilguardtoday that showed glimpses of what to expect from the first title in the series in almost a decade. The focus of the trailer, however, was to indicate when we can expect to get our hands onThe Veilguard: July 15, 2025.
Even though we’ve had to wait almost 10 years to get back toDragon Age, the wait is almost over. With a Halloween 2024 release date that means we’re just 2.5 months away from getting our hands onDragon Age: The Veilguard.
Surely not coincidentally, the story inThe Veilguardtakes place a decade after the events of its predecessor,Dragon Age: Inquisition. Players will take on the role of Rook and his companions as they put an end to a ritual in progress by Solas, one of your allies and party members fromInquisitionwho has become a villain. However, doing so breaks free the corrupt Elven gods who are hellbent on blighting the world, and it’s now up to you and your party to fight back against the ancient rulers.
