Episode 2:RevenantofDestiny 2has introduced a slew of vampire-slaying weapons. While I’m generally not a fan of sidearms, Insurmountable has caught my attention. Here’s where to find it and what rolls to chase.

How to get Insurmountable in Destiny 2

Insurmountable, like all of the otherRevenantweapons, can be acquired by participating in seasonal events. At the time of this writing, these will be the two Onslaught modes found in The Last City. Additionally, it can be found via rank up rewards from Eido. To maximize this, I recommend equipping four pieces of theseasonal gearas they provide a rep gain bonus.

PvE God Roll

If, like myself, you’re a fan of staring into the Void, then Insurmountable might just be the weapon to change your perception regarding sidearms. ThisRevenantsidearm goes to work with Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds working in perfect harmony. As your foes are debuffed, final blows will grant you an overshield, letting you turn minions into resources.

PvP God Roll

As for PvP, I’m not as fond of Insurmountable. It can work well in tight spaces, but there aren’t any traits that make it stand out. As such, we want to get one that works as more of an all-rounder. Increased range and a buff to other stats will make it at least competent.
