Isaac won’t poop himself if you scream, unfortunately
Visceral Games has today announced thatDead Space 3will allow for Kinect voice commands, letting players scream things like, “Find partner,” “Fire stasis,” and “Attack enemy,” in order to take down the Necromorph horde.
“The voice commands inDead Space 3give players a unique way to take down the terror, whether they choose to face the Necromorphs alone in single-player, or alongside a friend with drop-in / drop-out co-op,” claims Visceral’sSteve Papoutsis. “Dead Space 3delivers the action-horror experience our fans have come to know and love. And with the ability to survive the adventure alone, with a friend, or with Kinect, we’re excited about extending the spine-tinglingDead Spaceexperience to a whole new audience of players.”
According to the marketing spiel, Kinect will make it easier to revive partners, give them health/ammo, and find objects. I think I’ll stick with the option thatdoesn’tmake me sound like a twat yelling at his TV, but hey, the option’s there for those who like it.
