Harpoons thrust into the sky
From the murky brine of cut content and dummied out items, modder xxdeathknight72xx has returned to the surface with a most intriguing treasure. A curious harpoon gun that never made it into the game proper.
The harpoon gun replaces the railway rifle and is functionally very similar — a big clunky weapon chucking nasty spikes that will pin severed body parts to nearby walls. Oddly enough, air bubbles can be seen escaping the harpoon gun in a few animations, implying that it was originally intended to be used underwater. Did Bethesda have submerged exploration in mind before it realized that underwater areas in gamesare the worst thing everand decided against it? Or could this possibly be a hint at future DLC? I’m sure that would make our resident nautical expertBen Davishappy.
