But where’s Yangus?
We just got our first look at the new characters to appear inDragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s Enda few days ago. According to a page from the latest issue ofWeekly Shonen Jump, it seemsDragon Quest Heroes IIwill be getting a heap of new characters from previous games in the series as well.
The image features Torneko and Meena (Maya’s sister) fromDragon Quest IV, Carver fromDragon Quest VI, Gabo and Maribel fromDragon Quest VII, and Angelo fromDragon Quest VIII.
It also looks like Alena, Kiryl, Maya, Terry, and Jessica will be returning. I’m pretty bummed Yangus is nowhere to be seen, though. He’s the best! It’s also a little strange that both Bianca and Nera are gone, leaving no one to representDragon Quest V. Here’s hoping they will be available as secret bonus characters or something, kind of like the extra character from the firstDragon Quest Heroes.
