Atari and Cryptic Studios have today announced a brand new roleplaying game set in theDungeons and Dragonsworld,Neverwinter. The relatively successful MMO developer has peggedNeverwinteras a “co-op RPG” and it’s due out for PC in Q4 of 2011.
Neverwintergives players one of five classicD&Dclasses to choose from. They can them team up with AI or human allies to create a co-op team of five characters. Players will also be able to create their own quests and stories using a new content generation system that has been given the working title of Forge.
This actually sounds pretty damn hot. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Keep an eye on the game’s official siteright herefor upcoming news.
