As youexplore the first area inBrighter Shores, Hopeport, you may stumble across the Fallen Monument area located in the southwestern area of the Overgrown Fields. There’s not much direction as to what you’re supposed to do with this area, so we’ve put together a Fallen Monument Pieces guide so you know how the mechanic works inBrighter Shores.
What is the Fallen Monument
The Fallen Monument inBrighter Shoresis the rumble and ruins of an old monument that was destroyed many years ago. An NPC at the Fallen Monument is working on rebuilding it, and will enlist your aid for help in doing so. After speaking with the NPC, she will inform you that she has to rebuild the Fallen Monument in stages, requiring different-sized pieces for each stage. Once you collect Monument Pieces, you can return and sell them to the NPC to make some Silver for helping her rebuild the Fallen Monument. However, once you’ve given her the total number of pieces she needs for a specific Stage, she will no longer buy pieces of that size.
In the final stage for repairing the Fallen Monument, you need Miniscule Monument Pieces which requires Level 490 Forager to collect. The time required to grind out levels for professions inBrighter Shoresis quite significant, so no one is near close enough to have gathered the required Monument Pieces to finish rebuilding it. As such, no one knows what will actually happen when the Fallen Monument is completely repaired.
An important note is that despiteBrighter Shoresbeing an MMORPG, the repair status and progression of your Fallen Monument is exclusive to your account, meaning you will not see the repair progress achieved by other players. Only you can fix your Fallen Monument.
How to get all Monument Pieces to repair the Fallen Monument
InBrighter Shores, the entire process of collecting Monument Pieces goes through the Forager profession. As such, you will need to level the Forager profession in order to collect all the Monument Pieces needed to rebuild the Fallen Monument. The very first Stage of repairing the Fallen Monument requires Huge Monument Pieces which you may begin collecting via the Forager profession at Level 14 Forager. As you progress through the stages, smaller pieces are required to build the Fallen Monument. This means you can start repairing the Fallen Monument at Forager Level 14 but will not be able to complete building it until Forager Level 490.
