One thing I am totally aware of isBit.Trip BEAT. Here’s a review of theWiiWare build of the game, which I wrote up last year. If you don’t have time for all those words, I’ll tell you in short;Bit.Trip BEATis pure skill based, rhythm focused gameplay at its finest. I’ve only played the iPad version for a half an hour or so, but I can say that it feels just as good as it did on WiiWare, except with more control options, crisper graphics, and achievements. There’s also the promise ofBit.Trip VOID-flavored DLC, which is something that we hinted at in thisbedside interview with Commander Video.

Expect a full review of this new build as soon as I manage to finishBit.Trip BEATon the iPhone. The game’s last level is still hard as hell, even after practicing it for the better part of a year.
