The MP5 is a quintessential gun inCall of Duty. It is one of the most featured guns in the franchise, and it has been the favorite of many players sinceCall of Duty 4.
InWarzone 2andModern Warfare 2, the MP5 is once again one of the better guns in the game. However, it’s going under the name “Lachmann Sub.” That’s because, this time around, Activision didn’t license the real names of weapons in the game. Instead, most of the guns have fake names that kind of resemble the real names they went by in earlier titles.
Anyway, enough with the nitty gritty. Let’s take a look at the best MP5 loadout.

The above is our selection for the best Lachmann sub loadout. Here’s the breakdown:
Optic: Slimline Pro– The best no-fuss optic for the MP5.
Magazine: 50 Round Drum– Perfect for running and gunning, which plays to the MP5’s strengths.
Ammunition: 9MM Hollow Point– When combined with the 50 Round Drum, this ammo lets you take out 4-5 people before reloading.
Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40– Offsets some of the movement negatives from the 50 Round Drum.
Optional –Muzzle: SA Schalldampfer 99– Those who prefer to stay off the minimap can add this silencer to their setup.
This loadout enhances the strengths of the MP5. The 50 Round Drum is a must-have, especially for fast-paced game modes like Shipment 24/7. The speed and agility of the MP5 combined with the extra capacity ammo makes killing whole groups of enemies without reloading incredibly easy.
The optic, ammo, and underbarrel we’ve selected complement the 50 Round Drum to keep the best characteristics of the MP5. Running and gunning, firing from the hip, and close-quarters combat are all great use cases for this loadout. However, you’ll probably notice that we’re only using 4/5 modification slots. Depending on your play style, we’d recommend adding a silencer here.
To unlock the Lachmann sub, you must first level up the Lachmann-762 to 13 and then the Lachmann-556 to 13. The good news is that all of the attachments included in our loadout will be attained by leveling up those guns and then the Lachmann sub itself. The last attachment to unlock, should you decide to use it, is the SA Schalldampfer 99 silencer, which is available after getting the Lachmann sub to level 18.
